About This Role:

Veranex has an exciting opportunity to join our CRO and Consulting Services business as Vice President of Global Clinical Data Services. In this position, you will lead the development and optimization of clinical data management programs that support critical innovative advancements in patient care.

What You Will Do:

  • Develop and execute global operational strategy aligned with corporate objectives.
  • Lead a team of Clinical Data Management, Database Programming, Biostatistics, Statistical Programming, and Safety professionals based in the US, India, and Europe.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships at both the project and executive levels to support retention and growth opportunities
  • Oversee development, implementation, and adherence to quality standards to ensure compliance with global and local regulatory requirements.
  • Champion continuous innovation of technical tools, methodologies, and project/program management to improve efficiency, quality and client engagement.
  • Collaborate effectively with leaders in Clinical Operations, Regulatory Affairs, Commercial Strategy and Market Access Consulting to evolve synergies across the service line.
  • Participate in Sales and Marketing strategy design and execution to support revenue objectives.
  • Champion a data-driven culture by embedding metrics, experimentation, and customer insights into all product decisions.
  • Define clear success criteria and establish a regular cadence for reviewing product performance, adoption, and business impact.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in life sciences or a relevant field plus a minimum of 12 years of experience leading Clinical Data Management teams, including at least 7 years focused on MedTech development
  • Deep understanding of Clinical Data Management technical, process and regulatory standards
  • Extensive experience in successfully leading and managing teams across multiple geographies to develop, implement and manage detailed project plans including timelines, resources and budgets
  • Proven ability to translate business needs into operational plans, standards, and accountabilities
  • Effective change management skills
  • Occasional travel
