About This Role
The Instructional Design Manager is responsible for creating effective and engaging global learning experiences that meet organizational goals. This role involves collaborating with subject matter experts to design, develop, and implement training programs. Senior Instructional Designer ensures that instructional materials are aligned with adult learning principles and tailored to various audiences while incorporating innovative learning technologies and methodologies.
What You Will Do
- Lead the design and development of training programs, e-learning courses, and other educational materials.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather content and ensure accuracy and relevance in instructional design.
- Use instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, SAM) to create comprehensive training solutions.
- Develop assessments and evaluation tools to measure learning outcomes and program effectiveness.
- Stay current on trends in instructional design, learning technologies, and adult learning principles.
- Facilitate the rollout of training programs, ensuring smooth implementation and participant engagement.
- Continuously assess and improve training materials based on learner feedback and performance data.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Educational Technology, Art, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in instructional design and adult learning principles.
- Proficiency in learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning development tools (e.g., Articulate, Captivate, Storyline).
- Strong knowledge of instructional design models and techniques, such as ADDIE or SAM.
- Ability to create clear, engaging, and learner-centric training content.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with SMEs and other stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or a related field.
- Experience with blended learning environments and virtual classroom facilitation.
- Familiarity with data analytics to assess training effectiveness.
- Certification in instructional design (e.g., ATD, ISPI, or similar).
- Experience in specific industries such as corporate training, healthcare, or technology.
