JOB SUMMARY

This role will be focused on leading buy- and sell-side financial due diligence services on behalf of a broad range of financial and strategic buyers & sellers as well as privately-held business owners (sell-side diligence) within the dynamic middle market. JOB DESCRIPTION

Lead financial due diligence (buy-side and sell-side) engagements including:

• Quoting and scoping prospective engagements

• Directing and performing analysis

• Leading management discussions and correspondence

• Preparation and presentation of key deal analyses (Quality of Earnings, Net Working Capital, Debt & Debt-Like, etc.)

• Writing reports and delivering findings to clients

• Support UHY Corporate Finance marketing and business development through participation in marketing efforts, networking events, preparation of pitchbooks and related materials

• Manage and communicate pipeline and project status internally and with clients

• Develop standards, practices, procedures, templates and thought leadership

• Participate in recruiting and interviewing / candidate selection

• Develop and mentor staff

• Exposure to transactional support for capital raising, restructuring, and traditional sell-side investment banking transactions and strategies

• Work is conducted in a professional office environment with minimal distractions

Physical Demands

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and performing work in front of a computer screen for long periods of time

• Must be able to lift to 15 pounds at a time

Travel Required

• Some travel may be required to client sites during engagements

Required Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting and/or finance

• 5+ years of audit / corporate finance / transaction advisory service experience

Preferred Education and Experience

• Certified Public Accountant (“CPA”) designation
