JOB DESCRIPTION
Strategic Finance & Partner Equity
Lead the creation, maintenance, and enhancement of complex financial models used for partner equity valuation, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and alignment with the firm’s ownership framework.
Manage the annual partner buy‑in process, including model updates, valuation reviews, stakeholder coordination, and clear communication to candidates and current partners.
Provide ongoing analysis, reporting, and insights on partner growth, compensation alignment, capital requirements, and long‑term ownership strategy.
M&A Diligence & Integration
Lead financial diligence on potential acquisitions, including quality of earnings, financial risk assessment, and alignment with strategic objectives.
Support integration activities, evaluate expected versus actual performance, and recommend improvements to strengthen financial outcomes and operational alignment.
Procurement Optimization & Operational Efficiency
Modernize and strengthen the firm’s procurement function by enhancing processes, policies, compliance, and spend visibility.
Develop scalable procurement practices that support firm growth, cost optimization, and transparent decision-making.
Proactively identify opportunities to reduce spend, eliminate inefficiencies, and elevate vendor negotiation strategies while maintaining quality and service standards.
Partner Lifecycle & Leadership Development Support
Support the management of the partner lifecycle, including pipeline development, onboarding, transitions, and retirements.
Contribute to succession planning and long-term leadership readiness across the partnership.
Provide trend analysis and forecasting related to partner performance, future leadership needs, and firm growth trajectories.
Technology, Systems, & Implementation Leadership
Oversee Workday FINS and PSA readiness, partnering with Finance, HR, and IT to ensure smooth deployment and adoption.
Drive Salesforce (SFDC) and Aiwyn integration to enhance financial operations, billing workflows, and data quality.
Advocate for the adoption of modern financial tools, improving automation, reporting, scalability, and effectiveness across Finance.
Lead cross-functional projects focused on operational optimization, process improvement, and system modernization.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration & Project Leadership
Coordinate finance-related initiatives across departments, ensuring alignment, communication, and timely execution.
Utilize strong project management capabilities to manage multiple priorities and drive initiatives from concept to implementation.
Supervisory responsibilities
Will lead and supervise subordinate team members
Work environment
Work is conducted in a professional office environment with minimal distractions
Physical demands
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and performing work in front of a computer screen for long periods of time
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time
Travel required
Limited travel may be requested for attending events, conferences, or internal meetings
Required education and experience
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field
Minimum of 10 years’ progressive experience in finance, project management, or implementation leadership
Hands-on experience with Workday, Salesforce, and relevant financial technology platforms
Proven success in financial analysis, business case development, ROI evaluation, equity planning, capital transactions, procurement strategy, and partner lifecycle support
Preferred education and experience
MBA or CPA is highly desirable
