We are seeking a CRNA with a strong interest in obstetric anesthesia to join a collaborative, high-acuity clinical environment. This role is ideal for a CRNA who enjoys the physiologic complexity of OB, values autonomy, and wants to develop or further specialize in the full spectrum of obstetric anesthesia care.
Local Team Collaboration:
- Join our close-knit team of 9 physicians and 41 CRNAs at Piedmont Columbus Regional Midtown & Northside Campuses.
- Work alongside a dedicated team of Anesthesia professionals, many of whom have called Piedmont home for years.
Qualifications:
- NBCRNA board-certified.
- Authorization to work in the United States.
- Strong foundation in regional, neuraxial, and general anesthesia.
- Commitment to evidence-based obstetric anesthesia practice.
- Ability to manage rapidly changing clinical situations.
- Excellent communication with obstetricians, maternal-fetal medicine, nursing, neonatology, and other members of the perioperative team.
- A patient-centered approach to labor analgesia and shared decision-making.
Scheduling:
- OB Specialist 24-hour rotating schedule.
- Work 7 to 8 x 24-hour shifts a month, with every 4th week scheduled off.
- 13 weeks off.
Key Responsibilities:
- Practice full scope.
- Obstetric specialist CRNA.
- Labor anesthesia, including neuraxial labor epidurals and combined spinal-epidurals.
- Spinal and combined spinal-epidural techniques for cesarean delivery.
- Conversion of labor epidurals for operative delivery.
- General anesthesia when neuraxial anesthesia is contraindicated or inadequate.

Located on the Georgia/Alabama border, Columbus offers a big city with a small-town feel. It is the second-largest city in Georgia after Atlanta, but it boasts a more affordable housing market in the city and the surrounding areas.

Compensation:
- OB CRNA annual salary: $245,000 - $275,000
- $75,000commencement bonus
- 13 weeks of scheduled time off
- W2 & 1099 options available.
