• Join our close-knit team of six physicians at Plains Regional Medical Center, dedicated to improving health and wellness in New Mexico.
• Work alongside our team comprised of clinicians from diverse geographic, educational, and training backgrounds.
• J1 candidates invited to apply; access to Sound’s in-house visa specialists as well as our licensing and credentialing experts. HHS waiver and Conrad 30 available.

Qualifications:

• Board certified/eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
• Active medical license or eligible to become licensed in New Mexico.
• New grads are encouraged to apply.

Flexible Scheduling:

• Days, 7 on/7 off, 7 AM – 7 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high quality, comprehensive medical care and post-operative care to a 106-bed facility, including an open ICU with 7 beds.
• Handle patient admits, rounding, surgical consults, and discharges.
• No procedures. Codes are run by hospitalists and ED.
• Utilize EPIC EMR systems and Sound’s internal informatics platform.

Compensation and Rewards:

• Compensation: $1900 for day shift and $2000 for nights.
• Day rounder: $346,750 base, plus RVU and quality bonuses.
• $50,000 commencement bonus.
