We are hiring for a nocturnist physician assistant position. A nocturnist role requires working exclusively overnight shifts. Candidates must be comfortable with a nocturnal schedule and possess the ability to deliver exceptional patient care during nighttime hours.

Local Team Collaboration:

• Join our close-knit team of 20 physicians and six advanced practice providers (APPs) at St. Joseph East Hospital.
• Work alongside a diverse team of experienced professionals, including seasoned clinicians and recent graduates, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence in patient care.

Qualifications:

• Board certification/eligible physician assistant in acute care or family medicine.
• Ability to work effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
• Authorization to work in the United States.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive inpatient care, including managing patient admissions and performing procedures (with training available if needed).

• Participate in regular team huddles, all-staff, and educational CME meetings.
