Job Description

Support Specialist have significant experience in software development and use their expertise and knowledge of the industry practices to perform various
development tasks such as, coding, app development and web development.
Developers often oversee projects and may specialize in a particular area of
development or coding language.
Back end Developer must be technically savvy with a flair for creativity and
innovation. They need to be able to work in high pressure environments and
adhere to strict deadlines. Being a team player and having excellent
communication skills also are important.

How you'll make an impact:

  • Be an expert on the API methods that are available to properly help/guide
  • other developers to integrate their system with our e-commerce platform
  • Monitor APIs infrastructures (Production, Stage & Sandboxes), making sure
  • they are up & running 24/7
  • If an incident shows up, this person must submit a ticket to Support (L2) and
  • keep users informed until it is remedied
  • Able to troubleshoot issues during integration between platforms. If the
  • challenge is beyond her/his knowledge then bring the experts
  • Manage interactions with clients, merchants, partners and developers to
  • understand their requirements and articulate best implementation of Snap’s
  • solutions and product offerings.
  • Manage integrations with clients and merchants to the different plug-ins
  • that Snap offers. Guides them effectively for a successful integration to our
  • plug-in platform.
  • Keep Clients informed about new API versions, releases, newly published
  • methods, etc.
  • Maintain the knowledge base of known issues, problems, solutions, and
  • workarounds
  • Monitor external support channels like stack overflow and respond as needed.
  • This is an individual contributor role.

What you'll need to succeed:

  • Good communication and relationship building skills with the ability to
  • explain technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
  • Familiar with one or more programming languages (either PHP or Javascript
  • is a must).
  • Experience with Web technologies such as JavaScript, REST, SOAP
  • Understands basic API design concepts.
  • Familiar with API testing tools such as CURL or Postman
  • Familiarity with e-commerce platforms such as WooCommerce, Shopify,
  • Magento, Bigcommerce.
  • Creative thinker who is experienced at the discovery process and
  • understanding client pain points and opportunities.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and proactively manage expectations on client
  • calls.
  • 2+ years fintech integrations experience with online and in-store solutions.
  • Relevant experience with eCommerce platforms, payments gateways or
  • payment processors is preferred.
  • Starting a Computer Science or Engineering degree or related career
  • ability to stick to strict deadlines
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
