Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly analytical Technical Accounting & Financial Reporting Analyst for a temporary assignment for our Finance team. This role is responsible for supporting the company’s technical accounting research, financial reporting, and audit preparation. The ideal candidate has strong technical accounting skills, experience interpreting accounting guidance, and the ability to produce accurate, timely financial statements.

This role follows a hybrid schedule with one in-office day each week. Remote flexibility is available for highly qualified talent.

How you’ll make an impact:

  • Conduct technical accounting research, analyze new accounting standards, and prepare clear, well-supported documentation and memos
  • Prepare financial statements in accordance with GAAP, including balance sheet, income statement, cash flow, and footnotes
  • Support internal and external audit activities by gathering documentation, preparing schedules, and responding to auditor inquiries
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, FP&A, and other teams to ensure accuracy and consistency in financial reporting
  • Support ad hoc technical accounting and reporting projects

What you’ll need to succeed:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
  • CPA or progress toward CPA preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in technical accounting, auditing, or financial reporting (public accounting experience a plus)
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting requirements
  • Experience preparing financial statements and audit documentation
  • Excellent analytical, research, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to communicate complex accounting matters clearly
  • Proficiency with Excel and Word; experience with financial systems preferred
