Job Summary

The Manager of Business Intelligence (BI) leads a high‑performing team of analysts and developers to design, build, and maintain data products that deliver actionable insights across the organization. This role oversees BI tools and platforms—including Sigma Computing, Tableau, and Power BI—ensuring enterprise‑grade reporting, scalable dashboards, and strong data governance. In addition, this leader owns the development, standardization, and continuous improvement of the organization’s Data & Analytics Knowledge‑Transfer framework, ensuring consistent documentation, query logic transparency, and analytics reproducibility across all teams.

Responsibilities:

Leadership & Strategy

• Lead, mentor, and develop a Business Intelligence team.

• Define BI strategy and analytics roadmap.

• Partner cross‑functionally to translate business needs.

• Own BI project lifecycle including documentation.

• Champion knowledge‑sharing culture.

BI Tools & Analytics Development

Oversee dashboards and analytics development.

Leverage Sigma BI Platform

• Build reusable datasets and semantic layers.

• Standardize UI/UX, naming conventions, and version control.

• Maintain library of SQL queries, formulas, documentation.

Data Governance, Quality & Knowledge Transfer

• Maintain Data & Analytics Knowledge Hub.

• Document queries, outputs, Sigma logic, SOPs.

• Oversee QC processes.

• Partner on warehouse modeling and governance.

• Conduct BI audits.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Enablement

• Train business partners.

• Translate complex analyses.

• Serve as BI escalation point.

• Support Client Success via documentation standards.

Request Intake & Analytics Operations

  • Oversee request‑intake workflow.
  • Standardize intake forms and prioritization.
  • Maintain analytics backlog.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or related fields.
  • 2+ years of leadership or BI team management experience.
  • Advanced expertise with Sigma Computing, Tableau, and/or Power BI (highly preferred experience in at least two; working knowledge of all three ideal).
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and experience working with cloud data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, etc.).
  • Demonstrated success building dashboards, data models, and scalable BI assets.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and project leadership skills.

Preferred Attributes:

  • Experience implementing or scaling Sigma within a modern analytics stack.
  • Familiarity with ETL/ELT tools (dbt, Fivetran, Matillion, Airbyte, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of data governance frameworks and BI content lifecycle management.
  • Experience supporting operational, financial, or customer analytics.
  • Background in Agile project management.
