Job Summary

Lead end-to-end implementations for new client programs from pre-kickoff planning through golive and hyper care, owning timelines, risk management, technical readiness, and stakeholder alignment. Orchestrate cross functional work across Product/Engineering, Operations, Analytics, and Client Success to ensure a clean transition into steady state with measurable time-to-value and adoption.

Responsibilities

Client Implementation & Onboarding

  • Lead end-to-end client implementation projects from kickoff through go-live.
  • Develop customized implementation plans based on client requirements, business processes, and success metrics.
  • Facilitate discovery sessions to understand client needs, technical environments, and integration requirements.
  • Guide clients through configuration, data migration, testing, and user training.

Project Management

  • Build and maintain detailed project schedules, timelines, and documentation.
  • Coordinate cross-functional resources (engineering, product, and operations) to meet project deliverables.
  • Monitor risks, dependencies, and roadblocks; escalate and mitigate as needed.
  • Communicate clearly and proactively regarding project status, goals, and next steps.

Technical & Data Readiness

  • Translate business rules into data requirements (file layouts, API specs, mappings); coordinate ETL configuration with Engineering and vendors; validate entuned data flows.

Client Partnership & Communication

  • Serve as the primary point of contact during the implementation phase.
  • Maintain strong communication channels with clients and internal teams to ensure alignment.
  • Ensure a smooth handoff to Client Success Managers after implementation completion.

Process Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to enhance implementation workflows, tools, and best practices.
  • Develop playbooks, documentation, and templates to drive consistency and scalability.
  • Collaborate with product teams to provide client feedback on product improvements.

Skills & Qualifications

Required

  • 5+ years of project management, implementation, onboarding, or consulting experience.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid).
  • Excellent communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to translate technical concepts for nontechnical audiences.
  • Experience using project management tools (Asana, Smartsheet, Jira, Monday.com, etc.).

Preferred Attributes

  • Experience working in SaaS, HR tech, operations, or related fields.
  • PMP, CAPM, or similar project management certification.
  • Background partnering with Client Success, Support, or Sales teams.
  • Experience coordinating integrations, data migrations, or API-based products.
