About PostPilot

PostPilot helps ecommerce and consumer brands turn direct mail into a modern performance marketing channel.

Our platform makes it easy for brands to send individually personalized postcards to customers and prospects, combining the targeting and measurability of digital marketing with the attention and trust of physical mail.

At a time when customers are overwhelmed by digital ads, inboxes are crowded, and online channels keep getting more expensive, direct mail gives brands a different way to reach people and drive growth.

We're a fast-growing team working with leading brands across ecommerce, retail, health and wellness, apparel, beauty, home, and more. Our team is practical, creative, and focused on helping customers launch campaigns that actually perform.

About The Role

We're looking for a Graphic Designer to help customers bring direct mail campaigns to life.

This is a hands-on, customer-facing design role focused on postcard campaigns for ecommerce and consumer brands. You'll design postcard campaigns for a wide range of brands, adapt customer assets into effective direct mail creative, help improve offers and CTAs, prepare files for print, and work with customers and internal teams to get campaigns launched quickly and cleanly.

This is a high-volume creative environment, but not a repetitive one. You'll work across many different brands, industries, offers, and campaign types, often with several projects moving at once. The role is best for someone who enjoys variety, clear deadlines, practical iteration, and the rhythm of getting good work out the door consistently.

Customer conversations are part of the role. You should be comfortable joining customer calls to clarify briefs, discuss creative feedback, explain design decisions, and help align on campaign direction. This is not a sales role, but it is a customer-facing creative role.

The right person is not just a strong visual designer. You're also comfortable thinking through the marketing goal behind a campaign, communicating with customers, working across many projects at once, and using AI tools thoughtfully to move faster without giving up taste, judgment, or attention to detail.

This is a full-time remote position. The role requires availability during US business hours.

What You'll Do

  • Design postcard campaigns for PostPilot customers across a wide range of industries and brand styles.
  • Turn customer-provided assets, copy, offers, and briefs into polished, print-ready direct mail creative.
  • Advise customers and internal account teams on creative direction, messaging, offers, CTAs, layout, and campaign strategy.
  • Join customer calls to clarify campaign goals, discuss creative direction, review feedback, explain design decisions, and help customers move toward a strong final campaign.
  • Review designs for direct mail and print readiness, including hierarchy, legibility, bleed, trim, safe areas, mail panel constraints, QR codes, URLs, offer clarity, and front/back consistency.
  • Communicate with customers and internal teams to answer design-related questions, clarify briefs, collect missing assets, and resolve feedback.
  • Manage a steady queue of design requests while meeting draft deadlines and keeping work organized.
  • Use AI tools in your daily workflow to speed up ideation, versioning, copy refinement, research, organization, and QA while maintaining strong creative judgment.

About You

You're a strong designer who understands that great marketing creative has to look good, communicate clearly, and drive action.

You can move quickly without being sloppy. You know how to adapt to different brand styles. You can take imperfect customer inputs and turn them into something clear, polished, and effective. You are comfortable asking good questions, explaining your thinking, and working through feedback from customers and teammates.

You do not need to know everything about direct mail on day one. We do expect strong design fundamentals, good marketing instincts, clear communication, comfort with AI tools, and a willingness to learn the details of print, production, and campaign strategy.

Must Have

  • Strong visual design skills and a portfolio showing polished, commercially useful work.
  • Fluency in Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Experience designing for marketing, advertising, ecommerce, DTC brands, or other performance-driven creative.
  • Strong layout, typography, hierarchy, and brand adaptation skills.
  • Ability to design across multiple industries and brand styles without making everything feel the same.
  • Comfort working with customer-provided assets, imperfect briefs, and fast-moving feedback.
  • Comfort communicating directly with customers, including joining calls to discuss creative direction, feedback, and campaign goals.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize clearly, and consistently hit draft deadlines.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • Strong attention to detail, especially around copy, offers, URLs, codes, formatting, and production requirements.
  • AI-native working style, with experience using AI tools to improve speed, creativity, communication, or quality in daily work.
  • Based in the Americas and available to work US business hours.

Nice To Have

  • Print design or direct mail design experience.
  • Ecommerce or lifecycle marketing experience.
  • Customer-facing design, creative strategy, customer success, or support experience.

What Makes Someone Successful In This Role

  • You think about the business goal behind the design, not just the look of the card.
  • You can make customers creative better without overcomplicating it.
  • You communicate clearly and keep work moving.
  • You care about details that affect print quality, campaign clarity, and customer experience.
  • You are comfortable balancing creativity with speed, process, and practical constraints.
  • You enjoy working across many different brands and campaigns.
