Why This Role Matters
The Director of Corporate Events & Experiences is responsible for leading the strategy, planning, execution, and measurement of Patriot's corporate events and experiences. This role will manage events from concept through completion, ensuring each experience is thoughtfully designed, flawlessly executed, aligned with Patriot's brand, and connected to clear business objectives.
The Director will serve as the central point of coordination for major enterprise events, working closely with executive leadership and internal partners to create experiences that strengthen relationships, support business growth, connect employees, and bring the Patriot brand to life.
How You'll Make an Impact
Event Strategy & Leadership
- Develop and manage Patriot's overall corporate event strategy and annual event calendar.
- Lead events from initial concept and objective-setting through planning, execution, and post-event evaluation.
- Establish event standards, processes, timelines, and best practices to create a consistent experience across Patriot.
- Partner with business leaders to define event objectives, audiences, desired outcomes, and measures of success.
- Identify opportunities to continually elevate Patriot's event strategy and attendee experience.
- Collaborate on content with stakeholders.
Event Planning & Execution
- Lead all aspects of event planning, including venue selection, contracts, accommodations, transportation, food and beverage, entertainment, production, registration, and on-site logistics.
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, run-of-show documents, and contingency plans.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for venues, production companies, entertainment, and other event vendors.
- Lead on-site execution and troubleshoot issues to ensure a seamless attendee experience.
- Coordinate speaker logistics, presentations, programming, and event flow in partnership with internal stakeholders.
Experience & Brand
- Create memorable, high-quality experiences that reflect Patriot's brand and culture.
- Consider the full attendee journey, from the first invitation through post-event follow-up.
- Identify creative ways to increase participation, connection, and value for attendees.
Budget & Vendor Management
- Develop and manage event budgets, forecasts, and reconciliation.
- Negotiate with venues and vendors to maximize value while maintaining quality.
- Manage contracts, deposits, payment schedules, and vendor relationships in coordination with appropriate internal teams.
- Track event spending and identify opportunities for greater efficiency and scale.
- Manage and mitigate risk.
Measurement & Continuous Improvement
- Establish success metrics for major events and measure performance against objectives.
- Manage post-event surveys and feedback.
- Develop post-event recaps that capture attendance, feedback, outcomes, budget performance, and recommendations.
- Apply insights and lessons learned to continuously improve future events.

What You Bring
Day One:
- 10+ years of progressive experience in corporate event management, experiential marketing, hospitality, meetings, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience managing complex, multi-day corporate events from concept through execution.
- Experience managing significant event budgets and negotiating vendor and venue contracts.
- Strong project management skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple events, deadlines, stakeholders, and priorities simultaneously.
- Strong executive presence and ability to work effectively with senior leaders.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to remain calm, flexible, and solutions-oriented in fast-paced environments.
- Strong understanding of brand and attendee experience.
- Experience with event technology, registration platforms, and event measurement preferred.
- Strong relationships with vendors and venues across the country.
- Ability and willingness to travel as required
