Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager. In this role, you will independently manage a dedicated book of business while serving as the primary point of contact for client needs and renewal. This position plays a key role in helping clients understand coverage, navigate risk, and make informed decisions that protect their businesses.

Work Arrangement: This is a full-time position with hybrid opportunities available, reporting our office located in Flower Mound, TX.

Professional Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned commercial accounts, delivering responsive, professional day-to-day service.
  • Manage the full policy lifecycle—including quoting, binding, renewals, endorsements, audits, and remarketing—to ensure accuracy and timely execution.
  • Identify coverage needs, interpret policy and contract language, and resolve client issues while escalating complex matters appropriately.
  • Maintain strong technical knowledge of commercial lines coverages, carrier guidelines, and compliance requirements.
  • Partner closely with Producers, Account Executives, and underwriting partners to support retention, new business opportunities, and overall account strategy.
  • Maintain organized, accurate documentation within the agency management system in accordance with agency standards.
  • Build and sustain long-term client relationships through proactive outreach, strategic guidance, and consistent follow-through.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends and pursue ongoing professional development to support team excellence.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • 2+ years of Commercial Lines experience within an independent agency, or brokerage environment.
  • Active Property & Casualty insurance license.
  • Strong working knowledge of core commercial coverages (GL, Property, Auto, WC, E&O, etc.) and experience preparing COIs, binders, and renewal documents.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, OneDrive); Applied Epic or similar AMS experience preferred.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain coverage, assess client needs, and deliver clear recommendations.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven ability to build effective working relationships with clients, carriers, and internal partners.
  • A service-driven mindset with a willingness to go above and beyond to support clients and teammates.
