We are seeking a Telephonic Nurse Case Manager with a required Compact RN license, additional CA RN, and CCM to work Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 4:30 or 5 PM. Candidates with additional RN license from NY, NV, and/or OR will be given preference, along with candidates who possess one or more of the following certifications/endorsements: MD WCCM, TN Registry, NC QRP, GA Rehab.The Telephonic Case Manager provides remote medical case management services to injured individuals, many of whom were industrially injured. A Telephonic Case Manager assists consumers in their recovery so that they may return to the highest level of function as possible. Medical services are coordinated and assessed frequently, vocational options are explored with the injured worker and their employers, and pre-injury employment or alternate employment is secured. The Telephonic Case Manager works with all parties to the claim including: the injured person, the claim’s examiner, employer, attorneys (plaintiff and defense) and medical providers.Qualifications: Unencumbered compact RN requiredAdditional unencumbered California RN requiredCertified Case Manager (CCM) requiredBilingual (Spanish speaking) preferredAdditional RN licenses: New York, Nevada preferredOther state endorsements/certifications: Maryland WCCM, Tennessee Registry, North Carolina Industrial Commission, Georgia Rehab SuppliersWorker’s compensation case management experience preferredICU/ER experience experience will be consideredCase Managers may also need regional or national certifications and must adhere to the standards of practice outlined by the specific national certifying body or the jurisdictionally accepted standards of practice. Professional licenses or certifications required to meet qualifications for this position must be current, unrestricted and allow for practice within a state or territory of the United States.
