As a Technical Content Writer, your core focus will be educating Odoo users on how to operate the software. You will deliver clear, accurate, and thorough user documentation and online courses to help them easily navigate complex processes. In addition, you will help craft product pages, videos, and release notes to demonstrate the software's value by explaining and showcasing its features.

To achieve that, you will dive deep into the software’s functionality and are expected to become an expert in your assigned business scope. You will collaborate with all departments of Odoo, from R&D to business support, to gather knowledge and address their needs in terms of educational content.

To succeed, you will need solid English writing skills, a keen curiosity to discover how the software works, and the aptitude to communicate complex technical information with precision. You will learn and become proficient with Git, GitHub, and reStructuredText.

You will be working both from our office in Grand-Rosière and Louvain-la-Neuve.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Writing user documentation
• Writing and recording tutorials
• Scriptwriting for product videos
• Drafting release notes

MUST HAVE

• Perfect written English
• Passionate about learning & educating
• Enthusiasm for software & IT
• Bachelor's degree or higher
• Driving license
• Flexibility on the job location: Grand-Rosières (mainly) and Louvain-la-Neuve (sometimes)
• Valid work permit for Belgium

NICE TO HAVE

• Experience in technical writing
• Experience with business management software or in a software company
• Genuine interest in business processes (accounting, point of sale, spreadsheets, e-commerce,etc.)
• Audiovisual experience (video editing, recording, animation)
