About Odoo

Join our Direct Sales Team to spearhead Odoo's expansion in Mainland China. As a Business Development Executive, you will act as a strategic bridge for SMEs (typically <100 employees) with overseas operations. You will provide expert consultation to help these businesses navigate cross-border complexities, leveraging Odoo’s localization and global features to integrate their China-based activities with the international landscape.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Market Expansion & Penetration: Lead the charge in scaling our presence in Mainland China by converting high-intent inbound interest into sustainable revenue, while simultaneously building and executing strategic outreach initiatives to capture untapped market segments.

  • Strategic Pitching: Present Odoo to SMEs looking for a digital transformation partner who are unsatisfied with their current tools.

  • Business Intelligence: Analyze unique regional pain points and business activities to position Odoo as the definitive local solution.

  • Customized Strategy: Deliver high-impact, tailor-made software demonstrations that speak to specific market needs.

  • Closing & Growth: Own the negotiation process and drive revenue growth in your assigned market.

What's great in the job?

  • You won’t be doing traditional cold calling—most prospects already have some familiarity with Odoo and reach out for more. That said, as we expand into a new market, you may also support targeted outbound outreach.

  • Opportunities to develop personal network with decision makers/C levels from different industries and build up industry knowledge

  • Opportunities to represent Odoo and attend overseas business show in your assigned market

  • Interesting, evolving product with a large application scope: CRM, Accounting, E-commerce, Inventory, HR, Project Management etc.

  • You'll be in direct contact with the customer and take ownership of the full sales cycle, from initial contact to closing

MUST HAVE

Bachelor's degree, or higher


Native Mandarin + Fluent in English


​Market knowledge within Mainland China region


Excellent communication skill, you like to negotiate and to achieve targets



Ambitious, strong drive in exploring untapped markets

NICE TO HAVE

1 - 3 years relevant experience in Sales


Proven full sales cycle experience from lead generation/initial contact to closing in the SaaS industry


Have a good understanding of the “Go Global” ecosystem


Knowledge in cross-border e-commerce or international trade will be a plus
