Responsibilities
- Define and implement the company’s public sector strategy in alignment with overall business objectives.
- Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities with government bodies and public institutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key public sector stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Monitor public tenders, funding programs, and regulatory developments relevant to the company’s activities.
- Represent the company at public sector events, conferences, and industry forums.
- Establish processes, tools, and best practices for long-term public sector engagement.
- Provide market insights and strategic recommendations to leadership based on field experience.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams (product, legal, marketing, and sales) to adapt offerings to public sector needs.

About you
We are looking for an experienced and self-driven professional with a strong background in public sector business development and partnerships. You will bring the expertise and leadership needed to build this function from the ground up and successfully navigate complex public sector environments.
Here's what we expect from you:
Must have
- Proven experience in public sector business development, partnerships, or a similar strategic role.
- Strong knowledge of public procurement processes, tenders, and regulatory frameworks.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to create and structure a new function from scratch.
- Strategic thinking combined with strong operational execution.
- Experience working in cross-functional environments (legal, product, finance, marketing).
- Fluent in English and French
Nice to have
- Experience in a scale-up or fast-growing company environment.
- Existing network within the public sector ecosystem.
- Strong interest in IT solutions and digital transformation for the public sector.
- Previous experience with Odoo products or similar enterprise software solutions.
- Fluent in dutch
What we offer
Full-time CDI
A 38 hours/week contract including 2 days of home-working per week and flexible hours.
