As Business Analyst, you will implement Odoo. You'll be in direct touch with the clients to help them with the good use of Odoo apps (eCommerce, Manufacturing, Inventory, Project, Website...). Therefore, you will analyze their needs, design the solution, configure their flows as well as deliver personal training sessions. You will be at the front seat to ensure the project is delivered on time and on budget. Basically, you will be responsible to deliver the best management solution to your customers!

As Business Analyst, you will also support the growth of our partner network. You will help & coach our partners, from all around the world, to implement their customers' projects and to become Odoo Experts.

As a Business Analyst within the Accounting Expertise team, you specialize in the implementation and optimization of Odoo’s financial modules. While the generalist team handles broad project scopes, you are called upon to manage complex accounting flows and provide high-level functional guidance to financial stakeholders.

  • Complex Implementation Management: You act as the primary functional lead for accounting-heavy projects. This involves coordinating directly with CFOs, Accountants, and Heads of Finance to map their existing financial processes into Odoo, ensuring fiscal compliance and operational efficiency.
  • Advanced Solution Design: You analyze specific business requirements, such as multi-currency management, consolidated reporting, or automated reconciliation and design the most effective configuration to meet those needs.
  • Advanced Functional Support: You serve as a point of escalation for fellow Business Analysts and Odoo Partners. You troubleshoot intricate accounting problems and provide the definitive functional "how-to" for complex scenarios that fall outside standard training.
  • Financial Reporting & Data Analysis: Once the core flows are established, you focus on the output. You configure and refine financial reports (Balance Sheets, P&L, Tax Reports) to ensure the system provides accurate, real-time data for executive decision-making.
  • R&D Feedback Loop: You act as the bridge between the end-user and the R&D team. Based on your field experience and client feedback, you identify product gaps, suggest improvements, and test new accounting features before they are released to the wider community.

Your role is to ensure the reliability of the financial data within Odoo. By maintaining a deep mastery of both the software and accounting principles, you provide the stability and expertise required for large-scale digital transitions. You are responsible for ensuring that the final solution is not only technically sound but also aligns with professional accounting standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Project Management (60%)

  • Gain trust of your customers
  • Analyze the customer needs and suggest solutions
  • Implement the agreed solutions (configuration and development)
  • Make your customer/partner an Odoo Champion (training)
  • Follow the project and communicate about its status and the ongoing tasks
  • Organize and follow-up Odoo implementations

  • Support, coach and train other team members

MUST HAVE

  • 2 to 6 years of experience in the accounting sector (accountant, auditor, advanced controlling)
  • Experience with accounting software (BOB, Exact, Winbooks, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft,...)
  • Minimum 2 languages : NL/EN or FR/EN
  • Interest in the finance sector

  • Ability to support heavy workload and stress
  • Valid work permit for Belgium

NICE TO HAVE

  • More than 2 languages
