We are seeking an Systems Administrator (all genders) based in Berlin, Germany. This role requires minimum 3 days per week in office presence.

Your mission with us:
As a Systems Administrator, you will work on enabling a smart and smooth working environment for all Lingodies and ensure excellent IT support.

Your tasks:

  • Purchasing, configuring, and maintaining laptops (Mac and Windows) for our employees
  • Account administration and Account management (including Google Workspaces, Microsoft Azure AD, Slack, Zoom, Asana)
  • IT Onboarding & Offboarding
  • Office IT hardware maintenance and support - Printers, Scanners, Wifi, meetings rooms and cabling. Ensuring shared office equipment works to a high standard, is easy to use and is kept tidy.
  • Office IT troubleshooting - You serve as the first contact point for all the hardware and software related inquiries from Lingodies.
  • Working with new and existing IT suppliers to Lingoda - setting up new contracts, renewing contracts, sourcing new software, ordering equipment etc.
  • Help to promote IT Security practices to our employees and support increasing our IT security procedures and protections.
  • Keeping IT Wiki and User guides up to date, easy to use and relevant
  • Cooperation with stakeholders of other departments (HR, Office Management, IT Security and Network Analyst) to complete company projects.

You bring to Lingoda

  • 2+ years experience in a similar position and you are an IT guru!
  • A degree as an IT specialist in system integration or comparable training or offer a university or technical college degree in the field of computer science.
  • Really good knowledge of hardware setup, maintenance, troubleshooting and passion for working with IT systems.
  • A passion for high quality IT customer service
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office or Google Workspaces (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Gmail).
  • Good knowledge and working experience in IP networks administration.
  • High affinity for IT and open-minded towards new technologies.
  • Experience in the administration of Microsoft products, Azure Active Directory, Intune and iOS.
  • Great troubleshooting skills and really good organisational skills.
  • Very good English skills (spoken and written).
