Role Overview

LifeStance is undertaking one of its most significant technology initiatives to date, a multi-year enterprise EHR migration. This Senior Program Manager role sits within the Solutions Delivery team, reporting to the Director of Solutions Delivery, and was created specifically to lead critical workstreams within that program. The person stepping into it will play a central role in building the fuure technology foundation for the company.

The Solutions Delivery team operates as an expanded program management function, going well beyond standard project coordination to drive complex, cross-functional initiatives from ideation through execution and sustainment. Working directly alongside engineers, architects, data engineers, and integration developers, as well as clinical, operational, and vendor stakeholders, to get the work across the finish line.

COMPENSATION: $132,000 - $160,000/annually in addition to a competitive bonus plan

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end program management across assigned EHR migration workstreams, with a focus on integrations, data migration and archival, and system configurations
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including Engineering, Practice Operations, Clinical Leadership, Revenue Cycle Management, Product Management, and Data, while managing third-party vendor relationships and accountability
  • Build and maintain detailed project plans, milestone tracking, RAID logs, charters, and status reporting frameworks appropriate for a waterfall program with phased waves
  • Own the granular execution detail that migrations require — tracking data export requests, mapping progress, vendor deliverables, and handoff status at every stage
  • Partner with engineering and architecture teams to translate technical requirements into executable project plans and ensure alignment across workstreams
  • Develop and maintain executive-level communications that clearly reflect program status, risks, issues, and mitigation strategies
  • Establish and manage project governance structures and drive accountability across all stakeholders throughout the program lifecycle
  • Identify risks and dependencies proactively, develop mitigation plans, and escalate issues with clear recommendations
  • Document and share project learnings, best practices, and process improvements to strengthen the team's delivery standards over time
  • Act as a strategic partner to internal teams, keeping the focus on outcomes and ensuring the program stays on track against LifeStance's 2030 growth agenda

Skills & Experience

  • 7+ years of experience in technical program or project management, with demonstrated experience leading EHR migrations at scale — this is a must-have, not a preference
  • Direct experience with EHR migration workstreams including integrations, data migration and archival, and system configurations; candidates with Athena Health experience will be prioritized
  • Proven ability to work directly alongside technical teams — architects, data engineers, and integrations engineers — and manage complex, multi-vendor programs to completion
  • Strong command of waterfall program governance, including phased delivery models, milestone-based tracking, RAID log management, and executive reporting
  • Experience with project management tooling including Smartsheet, Monday.com, or equivalent platforms
  • Exceptional ability to manage detail and execution across parallel workstreams without losing sight of the broader program timeline and dependencies
  • Healthcare IT background strongly preferred
  • PMP or equivalent certification preferred
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
