Jobber exists to help people in small businesses be successful. We work with small home service businesses, like your local plumbers, painters, and landscapers, to transform the way service is delivered through technology. With Jobber, they can quote, schedule, invoice, and collect payments from their customers while providing an easy and professional customer experience. Running a small business today isn’t like it used to be—the way we consume and deliver service is changing rapidly, technology is evolving, and customers expect more. That’s why we put the power and flexibility in their hands to run their businesses how, where, and when they want!
Our culture of transparency, inclusivity, collaboration, and innovation has been recognized by Great Place to Work, Canada’s Most Admired Corporate Cultures, and more. Jobber has also been named on the Globe and Mail’s Canada’s Top Growing Companies list, and Deloitte Canada’s Technology Fast 50™, Enterprise Fast 15, and Technology Fast 500™ lists. With an Executive team that has over thirty years of industry experience of leading the way, we’ve come a long way from our first customer in 2011—but we’ve just scratched the surface of what we want to accomplish for our customers.
The Role:
AI-powered search, LLM-driven recommendations, and generative engine results are becoming primary discovery channels for software buyers. Traditional SEO still matters, but it's no longer enough.
Reporting to the Director, Organic Acquisition, this is a growth marketing role with one constraint: organic channels only. Your job is to identify, prioritize, and execute the highest-impact opportunities for driving organic demand, both directly to Jobber's website and indirectly by seeding the AI models that increasingly determine what buyers find and trust. You are measured on lead generation and revenue contribution.
You sit alongside an existing Organic Search team (technical SEO/GEO manager and content marketers) who own the site, the content engine, and the technical foundation. You also work closely with our Principal DG Manager, PLG, who leads product-led growth experiments. You are the missing piece: the person who looks beyond the website to determine where else Jobber needs to show up so that AI models cite us, recommend us, and send us qualified traffic.
The Growth Marketing Manager, AI Visibility & Organic Demand will:
Identify and Prioritize Organic Growth Opportunities
Continuously identify new opportunities to drive organic demand and AI visibility. Your mandate is broad: any organic channel or tactic that increases the frequency, quality, and sentiment of Jobber mentions across the surfaces that AI models ingest
Prioritize ruthlessly using structured frameworks (ICE scoring or equivalent). You maintain a ranked backlog of experiments and initiatives, and you can defend your prioritization to your Director and cross-functional partners
Own Reddit, LinkedIn, YouTube (in partnership with Jobber Creative Studio), forums, community platforms (in partnership with Community), and more. Tomorrow it will include channels that don't exist yet. You stay ahead of where AI models are sourcing signal and position Jobber accordingly
Execute, Experiment, and Scale
Design and run structured AEO/GEO experiments: testing content formats, distribution channels, entity-building tactics, and AI citation strategies. You translate results into scalable practices or kill what isn't working
Develop Jobber's presence on platforms where home service professionals seek advice and where LLMs draw signal. This is strategic content development, not community management or brand social
Monitor AI visibility scores, citation frequency, share of voice, and sentiment across tracked competitors and AI platforms (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, Gemini). Surface what's working, what's slipping, and bring recommendations to the team
Build the playbook for off-site organic demand generation in a post-AI search world. This discipline barely exists yet; you'll help define it at Jobber
Partner Cross-Functionally
Work alongside the Organic Search team (technical SEO/GEO and content) to ensure your off-site and channel work reinforces the on-site foundation they maintain. You bring the AI visibility lens; they bring the technical and content infrastructure
Partner with the Principal Demand Generation Manager, PLG on product-led growth experiments that have organic demand implications, including how PLG entry points surface in AI-generated recommendations
Collaborate with teams who own adjacent channels (YouTube, help center, brand partnerships, PR) to coordinate Jobber's presence across the surfaces that AI models reference. You don't own these channels, but you bring the strategic perspective on why and how they contribute to AI discoverability
Communicate clearly on scope, timelines, and trade-offs. Push back thoughtfully when incoming requests don't align with strategy or prioritization
To be successful, you should have:
Proven AEO/GEO experience with demonstrable results. You've implemented AI visibility strategies and can point to measurable improvements in citation frequency, share of voice, or AI-referred traffic. This is not a role for someone who has read about GEO; it's for someone who has done it
AI-native with the builds to prove it. You use AI tools daily to research, build, test, and automate. You've built workflows, agents, or automation that made your work meaningfully better, and you can walk us through them
Strong grasp of SEO fundamentals and deep understanding of how AI-powered search is reshaping content strategy, distribution, and discovery
Experience developing content strategies for organic channels like LinkedIn, Reddit, YouTube, or forums, specifically with a growth or lead generation objective
Experience with AI visibility monitoring tools (Profound, GrackerAI, or similar)
Comfort with structured prioritization frameworks and data-driven decision making. You measure against business KPIs (trials, conversions, leads, revenue), not vanity metrics
Proven ability to work cross-functionally with creative, technical, and marketing teams
Ability to work with ambiguity and build structure where it doesn't yet exist. This is a role where you define the playbook, not follow one
It would be really great (but not a deal-breaker) if you had:
Familiarity with NLP concepts, structured data, and how LLMs ingest and weight content sources
Experience with A/B testing content or landing page experiments
Experience with Ahrefs, Google Search Console, GA4, or similar tools
Familiarity with demand generation workflows and how organic content feeds paid and lifecycle campaigns
