We are looking for a proactive, driven, and detail-oriented Events Intern to join our Marketing & Communications team for a period of 6 months. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience supporting global in-person and online events in the fast-paced and impactful world of sustainability data and benchmarks for real assets.

As we gear up for our busiest events season of the year, we are seeking someone enthusiastic about events, who communicates clearly, and takes ownership of their work. You will play a key role in ensuring our events run smoothly and professionally—working closely with experienced team members and engaging with global partners and stakeholders.

The candidate will ideally be able to start in May, for a period of 6 months.

We unfortunately cannot provide visa sponsorship for internships-candidates must already have the right to work in the Netherlands or hold a valid student visa.

Responsibilities

As part of our marketing and events team, your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the planning, logistics, and promotion of global events (in-person and virtual), including webinars, in-person events, and partner activities.

• Helping coordinate production elements such as platform/tool setup (e.g., Swoogo, Socialive, Zoom), briefing materials, and run-of-show documents.

• Assisting with stakeholder communications, including speakers, partners, and attendees.

• Collaborating on digital marketing efforts related to events (email campaigns, social media, website updates).

• Helping maintain and update event-related content on the GRESB website and platforms.

• You are currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in a relevant field (Event Management, Business, Marketing, Communications, Sustainability, or similar); OR:

• You have a background in another discipline but a strong interest in event production and sustainability.

• You are a fast learner, self-motivated, and eager to develop your skills in a real-world setting.

• You have excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

• You communicate clearly and professionally in English (spoken and written); other languages are a plus.

• You are very well organized and detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced, international environment;

• You are comfortable using Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel); experience with Salesforce, Pardot, Canva, Adobe, Monday.com, Swoogo, WordPress, or other event/marketing tools is a strong plus.

• You are available to work from our Amsterdam office and are legally allowed to intern in the Netherlands.
