We are currently seeking an Accounts Manager – Corporate Accounts for Vector Biolabs to manage key customer, distributor, and strategic partner relationships supporting our AAV and Adenovirus gene therapy portfolio. This individual will be a core member of the commercial team and will drive growth across our end-to-end preclinical viral vector development and production services.
Our gene therapy portfolio includes premade recombinant adenovirus and AAV products, including recombinases, fluorescent reporters, miRNA, shRNA, sgRNA, and CRISPR Cas9, as well as custom AAV and adenovirus services spanning vector design, cloning, production, amplification, purification, and titration.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage a portfolio of key accounts, including distribution partners, with a focus on long term relationship development and revenue growth
- Grow and expand existing customer relationships to achieve and exceed sales objectives
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts by fielding customer inquiries and coordinating with internal teams to resolve issues efficiently
- Build, manage, and optimize a distributor network aligned with Vector Biolabs’ commercial strategy
- Establish strong working relationships with distributor partners at multiple levels, including sales representatives, sales leadership, and key decision makers
- Maintain a strong understanding of market trends, competitive dynamics, and customer needs, and proactively share insights with internal stakeholders
- Support new business opportunities and participate in customer pitches, ensuring effective onboarding of new clients
- Set clear customer expectations around proposal timelines and project milestones to support accurate in quarter forecasting
- Accurately report sales activity, pipeline, and forecasts in the CRM and present updates during funnel and business reviews
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a life science discipline with a minimum of four years of experience in account management, distributor management, or related commercial roles
- Advanced degree preferred
- Experience supporting gene therapy, viral vectors, or adjacent applications beneficial
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex customer and internal coordination challenges
- Self-motivated, goal oriented, and comfortable working in a collaborative team environment
- Prior experience using CRM tools, preferably Salesforce
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
Travel Requirements
- Willingness to travel approximately once per quarter

Compensation and Benefits
Compensation: Base salary $120,000.00-$130,000.00/year plus participation in Sales Compensation Plan.
