Marketing Engineer

Energy Aspects is shaping its marketing team to support the next chapter of the company's growth. AI sits at the heart of that evolution: automated workflows do the heavy lifting, and people focus on strategy, judgement, and quality. We're hiring a Marketing Engineer to build and run the technical layer that makes this possible: the integrations, data flows, and AI-driven workflows that turn marketing strategy into execution, reliably and at scale.
An engineer first, applied to marketing. We're looking for someone who builds things: automations, integrations, and AI agents that hold up in production. You don't need a marketing background or prior experience with our specific platforms. A good engineer can pick up any system, and we'll help you learn ours.
You are the engine room of the marketing function. The team is organised around two demand engines. Account-based marketing (ABM), targeting existing and strategic accounts, is led by the Campaign Manager. New Customer Development (NCD), winning new logos, is led by the Digital Marketing Manager together with the SDR team. Both are fed by an AI-driven content engine and both run on the same technical foundation, which is the layer you own.
You'll report to the Head of Marketing, work day-to-day with the marketing managers and the SDR team, and collaborate closely with the Technical team, following their standards and using the AI models and tooling they approve.

Key Responsibilities
• AI agents & workflows. Build, configure, and maintain the AI agents and automated workflows that run our marketing operation, connecting them to our tool stack via APIs and MCP integrations. Handle prompt configuration, output QA, and getting AI outputs cleanly into downstream systems.
• Integrations & automation. Connect and automate our marketing and sales tools (today Salesforce, Pardot, Salesloft, Apollo, and Slack) so data and tasks flow without manual intervention. Automating the Salesforce-to-Pardot sync is an early priority. Platform-level changes in Salesforce are made in coordination with the Salesforce development team.
• Content pipelines. Deploy, run, and maintain the pipelines that turn content ideas into campaign assets, sequences, and social copy, and connect those outputs to the systems that publish and distribute them.
• Data & reporting. Keep contact and account data clean, and build the segmentation, routing, and dashboards the marketing managers rely on. Reporting builds on Energy Aspects' existing data warehouse and BI layer, so there's a single source of truth.
• Support across the team. Give the SDR team and the marketing managers the list builds and targeting workflows they need for both demand engines, QA HTML email templates where automation needs a human hand, and support our Duda website and, later, the move to a code-first site alongside the Technical team.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
• Hands-on engineering experience. A track record of building software, integrations, or automation, whether your background is in software, data, automation, RevOps, or GTM engineering. Python or a similar language, APIs, and Git are part of your everyday toolkit.
• Data fluency. Comfortable with SQL and with moving, cleaning, and joining data across systems.
• AI experience or strong appetite. Experience building with LLMs, agents, or AI workflow tools is a real plus. If you haven't yet, we want to see genuine curiosity and a willingness to learn fast, because this is how the team works.
• A builder's mindset. You turn a brief into a robust, working system, care about things that don't break, and pay close attention to detail. Our clients are sophisticated buyers in financial markets, so broken data or sends carry real reputational cost.
• Fluent English. Our team, deliverables, and clients operate in English.
Nice to have
• Exposure to a CRM or marketing automation platform (Salesforce, Pardot, HubSpot, Marketo, or similar).
• Experience with automation tools such as Zapier, Make, or n8n.
• Familiarity with prospecting tools such as Apollo, Clay, or Salesloft.
• A B2B SaaS or financial data background.
