We are also growing our offering to clients focused on the energy transition, providing tradeable insights on long-term trends. We have also recently acquired Kayrros (2026) headquartered in Paris, France.

Kayrros is a leading geospatial intelligence company that uses AI, satellite imaging, geolocation data
and other sources of information to evaluate global energy systems, identify climate risks, and help
global customers improve their operations.


The Finance and Accounting team drives Kayrros’ global finance operations, providing support to management on a wide range of topics from business planning, reporting and day-to-day operations. The Paris team is composed of the CFO, a Comptable Générale and an Accounting Assistant. You will report directly to the Kayrros CFO.

We’re looking for a curious, organized, and rigorous person to act as the strategic partner to the CFO during this key integration phase.

This is a 6-month interim mission, as we build and align our finance function.

Key Responsibilities


Financial Control & Reporting responsibilities:

In collaboration with the Accounting team, and as the strategic partner to the Chief Financial Officer:

Financial Reporting & Analysis:

Act as the primary finance bridge between Paris operational teams (Sales, Engineering) and the Energy Aspects finance function in London: ensure alignment on KPIs, budget assumptions and group reporting requirements.

Prepare monthly KPI reports, P&Ls and Cash Flow Statements for the CFO, C-Level and the Energy Aspects group.

Analyse and explain variances of KPIs, sales, costs and cash flows vs the annual budget and prior forecasts.

Analyze and track profitability by contract, product and project.

Help prepare financial reports for subsidies, CIR / CII and other relevant needs.

Conduct reviews and evaluations with operational managers to identify causes of variances and means to improve performance.

Assist in improving the Finance team’s tools and processes.

Budgeting, Forecasting & Planning:

Prepare and participate in the forecasting process including the Annual Budget and the Long Term Business Plan.

Update P&L and cash-flow forecasts on an ongoing basis

Process Improvement & Systems Migration:

In collaboration with the CFO and the Paris finance team:

Manage day-to-day management control activities: monitoring actuals, investigating variances, and maintaining financial discipline across the organisation.

Review and improve existing management control processes: identify gaps, streamline workflows, and raise the overall quality of financial reporting.

Lead Kayrros’ migration from SAP Business by Design to a new accounting platform (likely Sage Intacct): map current workflows, coordinate with internal stakeholders and the implementation partner, and ensure continuity throughout the transition.

Contribute to aligning Kayrros’ finance processes with Energy Aspects group standards.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

Bachelor's degree in finance and/or accounting

Experience (7+ years) in a challenging environment (fast-growing start-up, consulting, audit firm)

Experience in financial planning, analysis, and modeling.

Strong organizational skills.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

Detail-oriented and able to perform in a high-pressure environment.

Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Autonomy, accountability, team spirit.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Powerpoint) and the Google Suite (Sheets, Slides)

Knowledge of SAP Business by Design; familiarity with Sage Intacct or a similar mid-market accounting platform is a plus

Fluency in French and English – day-to-day written and verbal interaction with the Energy Aspects finance team in London
