Energy Aspects currently has a fantastic opportunity for a driven and ambitious Commercial Executive to join our Saudi business development team, based out of our Riyadh Office. This is a great career opportunity for a recent graduate, with an interest in commodities to identify and grow accounts in the energy, commodities or financial information markets, to join our growing team.

This position will require flexibility and the drive to go beyond the core hours when needed, ensuring we all fulfil our goals. All team members are encouraged to build their professional reputation within the industry and are supported by some of the most well-regarded energy sector commentators. You must be able to work independently, as well as be capable of planning and prioritising to achieve success.

Key Responsibilities


In your capacity as Commercial Executive, you shall perform such duties as are reasonably assigned to you by the Company and which are consistent with your position. These duties shall include, without limitation:
  • supporting prospecting and new business development activities within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia;
  • identifying and engaging prospective clients through outreach, follow-up, and meeting coordination;
  • supporting the sales process through opportunity qualification and coordination with senior commercial colleagues;
  • assisting in the management and development of relationships with existing clients;
  • conducting client check-ins and supporting account engagement activities;
  • assisting clients in understanding and making effective use of the Company’s research, data, and services;
  • responding to client queries and coordinating internally to ensure timely and effective support;
  • maintaining accurate records of client interactions and commercial activity in the Company’s systems; and
  • representing the Company professionally and supporting the development of long-term client relationships in the market.

This role is offered on a hybrid basis with 1 day based in our office in KAFD and 4 days working from home.

As part of your onboarding and development, you will be required to participate in training and induction programmes as determined by the Company, including up to two weeks of training at the Company’s London headquarters, subject to business requirements and any necessary travel arrangements.



Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

  • You will be able to work independently, as well as be capable of planning and prioritising to achieve success
  • Minimum Batchelor's degree (Mathematics, Economics, Engineering or Energy) preferred
  • Experience working with financial data and financial derivative products is desirable
  • Fluency in Arabic & English
  • Due to Saudisation requirements, applicants must hold Saudi nationality
