Energy Aspects currently has a fantastic opportunity for a driven and ambitious Quant Sales Specialist to join our Enterprise Data Business, based out of either our New York or Houston office. This is a great career opportunity for a strong Quant Sales Specialist, with previous proven experience nurturing and growing accounts in the energy, commodities or financial information markets, to join our growing team.
At Energy Aspects, our Sales Specialists are responsible for the retention and growth of our existing customer base, through renewals and identifying upselling and cross-selling opportunities. They are also responsible for strategic plans within their set territory, strong collaboration with other parts of the business and for delivering customer value through sound strategies and solutions.
This position will require flexibility and the drive to go beyond the core hours when needed, ensuring we all fulfil our goals. All team members are encouraged to build their professional reputation within the industry and are supported by some of the most well-regarded energy sector commentators. You must be able to work independently, as well as be capable of planning and prioritising to achieve success.

Key Responsibilities
- Be the commercial owner for EA Quant analytics and Data solutions in Americas, including:
- Quantitative analytics & predictive outputs
- Structured datasets / data feeds
- Dashboards, written research and API
- Identify, target, and secure new business opportunities across the Americas, with a focus on quantitative analytics and enterprise data solutions.
- Manage and expand relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction, retention, and upsell opportunities.
- Develop a deep understanding of Energy Aspects’ Quant Analytics and Enterprise Data products, and effectively communicate their value proposition to quantitative, trading, and enterprise clients.
- Collaborate with internal teams (product, research, data science, marketing) to tailor solutions to client needs and provide feedback for product development.
- Negotiate and close enterprise-level sales contracts for data and analytics solutions.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, competitor offerings, and evolving client requirements in the Americas.
- Represent Energy Aspects at industry events, conferences, and client meetings across the region.
- Occasional travel within the Americas as required (approximately 2-3 times per quarter).
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- Minimum of 4 years’ work experience in sales, preferably within quantitative analytics, data, SaaS, or fintech sectors.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets when selling to hedge funds/ commodity traders.
- Strong understanding of the energy, commodities, or financial markets, with an appreciation for quantitative and data-driven solutions.
- Comfortable discussing quantitative concepts such as time series, backtesting, model performance.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships at all organisational levels.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently.
Desirable Skills
- English required; Spanish or Portuguese language skills are a plus.
- Experience selling quantitative analytics, data products, or enterprise SaaS solutions.
- Existing network of contacts within the energy, commodities, financial, or quant trading.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
