SUMMARY

As an Estimator, you’ll scope damage, build accurate repair plans and timelines, negotiate with insurers, and keep customers informed every step of the way. You’re the bridge between teardown and delivery—ensuring repairs start right and finish strong.


WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Inspect & diagnose: Examine damaged areas and determine repair/replace/refinish needs.

  • Build accurate estimates: Calculate labor and parts, document procedures, and set timelines.

  • Own the paperwork: Prepare carrier documentation and repair cost estimates.

  • Guide the customer: Explain damage, costs, insurance steps, and expected timelines in plain language.

  • Kick off repairs: Draft work orders and enter required repairs into CollisionRight’s system (CCC).

  • Track the story: Keep organized, complete records from intake to delivery.


WHAT YOU BRING

  • 1–3 years in collision repair/estimating with solid knowledge of processes, techniques, and materials.

  • Strong understanding of vehicle structure and component R&R (doors, glass, fenders, etc.).

  • Safety-first mindset; consistent PPE use and adherence to procedures.

  • Sharp attention to detail; follow-through on written and verbal instructions.

  • Physical ability to lift up to 35 lbs routinely and occasionally 70+ lbs; agility for climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and balancing as needed.

  • Strong hand/arm/finger dexterity and reach.

  • Proven negotiation skills and a customer-first approach.

  • Thrives in a fast-paced, production-oriented environment.
