We’re seeking a motivated and persistent Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our high-energy team and be a frontline driver of our growth.
Position Summary:
As an SDR, you will play a critical role in generating new business opportunities by cold calling prospective clients, qualifying leads, and setting up appointments for our Production team. You’ll be the first voice our potential clients hear and a key player in helping them understand the power of insurance captives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct high-volume outbound cold calls daily to businesses across targeted industries.
- Identify decision-makers and qualify prospects based on company size, risk profile, and insurance needs.
- Clearly communicate the benefits of joining a captive insurance program.
- Schedule meetings and hand off qualified leads to senior sales team members.
- Maintain and update CRM system with detailed call notes, lead status, and follow-up activities.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to refine messaging and optimize outreach strategies.
- Meet or exceed weekly and monthly metrics (calls, conversations, appointments set, etc.).
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in a sales or business development role (insurance or B2B sales preferred).
- Prior experience cold calling and handling high call volumes.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a confident phone presence.
- Self-starter with high energy, persistence, and a competitive drive.
- Ability to quickly learn new concepts and explain them clearly to others.
- Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) is a plus.
- Insurance industry knowledge or captive insurance exposure is a bonus but not required.
