As a Pharmacist Supervisor, you’ll be a responsible and motivated supervisor to oversee pharmacy workflow and staff. The supervisor will also be responsible for coaching, resolving issues, scheduling, task assignment, verification of orders as needed, Quality Assurance reviews, and Annual Reviews.The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented and have established management experience. They will be required to consistently ensure that the appropriate drug product reaches the customer safely. Always a team player, you’re eager to support your colleagues by sharing knowledge and leadership to support the overall goals of the pharmacy and needs of customers.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
• Providing real-time feedback on worker performance
• Providing reports and activity updates to management
• Help the Pharmacist staff understand performance targets and goals
• Assisting for emergencies from facilities, including seasonal outbreaks
• Assisting in hiring processes
• Coordinating task rotation and cross-training
• Scheduling work hours and shifts
• Setting goals for performance in ways that comply with the company plan and vision
• Organizing workflow and ensuring that employees understand their duties or delegated tasks
• Monitoring employee productivity and providing constructive feedback and coaching
Qualifications
Qualifications:
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Pharmacy from an accredited School of Pharmacy
• Current license to practice pharmacy in good standing
• Previous Leadership experience preferred but not required
Skills and Abilities:
• Effective multitasking
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Well-developed verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, which may include evening, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds• May drive long distances on a regular basis
