About the Role:

The position is responsible for consulting with their regional leadership to determine the ability to fill the schedules. Offering guidance and strategic planning to come up with the best possible solutions for staffing needs. They are responsible for forecasting and owning all communication with their field leaders, working throughout the organization to utilize currently employed physicians to fill interim assignments. Manages the process of new temp clinicians from start of presentation to credentialing to orientation/start date.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Work with staffing coordinator on new presentation of locum candidates
Work with Site/Physician/ECHO/3 Party to schedule orientation & first clinical shifts
Continue to schedule confirm/cancel physician as long as needed
Represent Staffing on critical sites call and ad-hoc calls
Represent Staffing when speaking to Regional Leadership
Represent Staffing for Region in Recruiting/Staffing meetings
Follow process on confirmation/cancellation of temp clinician shifts
Open new temp search with Echo recruiting/outside agencies
Provide financial impacts of staffing decisions

Review/Approve time entries for temp clinicians
Will be responsible for being on call for emergencies that occur outside of business hours

Education and Experience:

Minimum: Associate’s Degree, or an equivalent combination work experience and education

Preferred:  Bachelor’s Degree

Minimum: 1 year experience in a Staffing Coordinator position or 1 year experience in staffing industry

Preferred:  2+ years experience in a Staffing Coordinator position or 2 years’ experience in staffing industry

Indoor office environment
Limited travel (<7 trips per year)
Sitting at desk for up to eight hours (w/breaks)
Working on computer for up to eight hours (w/breaks)
Moving/lifting file boxes (up to 25 lbs.
