Program Manager A&D at MACOM

This position will provide day to day leadership and focus on the execution of complex Active Aperture Programs. The program manager will oversee schedule development, program execution, pricing, cost containment, technical and schedule performance. The program manager will interact with all members of the MACOM team across business and functional organizations. Proposal development support is required as well as providing program execution status updates to customers and MACOM leadership.
This position will provide day to day leadership and focus on the execution of complex Active Aperture Programs. The program manager will oversee schedule development, program execution, pricing, cost containment, technical and schedule performance. The program manager will need to be able to:
Develop proposals including; technical, cost/price and contracts volumes
Develop and track program milestones and tasks integrated master schedules and program metrics during program execution
Understand and implement supplier agreements and supplier delivery assessments
Be able to communicate clearly (verbal and written) across the MACOM organization as well as to customer.
Provide analysis of customer requirements and provide potential solutions
Obtain and analyze program metric in support of overall program assessments and identify program shortfalls and return to green plans to get back on track
Perform program risk management
Assess staffing requirements for programs
Ability to collaborate across functional areas, executive management, purchasing, contracts, operations, quality, security, human resources, logistics to develop and deliver products
Preferred Additional Skills:
The program manager will have a Bachelor’s degree and 7 years’ experience in program or project leadership positions.
The program manager will be required to have or be able to learn these additional skills:
Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project
Agile development system for product development
Communication skill written and verbal
Aerospace and defense industry experience
Must be U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident
