Market Development Representative at Ability Network

Overview

The Market Development Representative is responsible for prospecting, qualifying and generating new sales leads to support the Sales Team. This individual will be a highly motivated, self-starter with a strong sales dynamic, able to identify and develop new business prospects from multiple sources, including inbound marketing leads and prospect lists. In addition, this position provides a development opportunity for a successful MDR with the aspiration to move into a sales position within ABILITY.
Responsibilities

Initiate outbound prospecting, qualifying, and contact verification for ABILITY services
Develop new business via telephone and mass communication such as email to introduce ABILITY services to prospect and existing customers
Submits qualified leads in Salesforce and transfers them to the Sales Team
Identify appropriate buyers within the target market
Provide feedback to help identify prospects’ pain points to help determine how the ABILITY solution will speak to those needs
Build and cultivate prospect relationships by initiating communications and follow-up communications
Work as part of market driven team to develop and grow the sales pipeline
Consistently attain and exceed monthly MDR quotas
Use Customer Centric™ sales techniques, process, and pipeline milestones to manage sales
Utilize Salesforce.com for contact management, opportunity tracking, sales pipeline management
Other duties as requested and/or determined
Qualifications

H.S. diploma required, Bachelor's degree preferred
1-2 years of successful sales and marketing experience
Technology products and or healthcare experience is a plus
Experience using Salesforce.com or similar CRM product preferred
Proficiency with MS Office suite and other software applications
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong presentation skills both over the phone and potentially onsite at tradeshows
Good analytical skills
Ability to set and manage multiple priorities
Strong project management/organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail
Ability to build team unity, working with cross-functional and diverse groups
Ability to work in a fast paced environment
