Overview

The Market Manager will leverage their healthcare & marketing experience and be part of a team to create and execute plans to promote ABILITY’s innovative applications to help health care providers simplify administrative and clinical complexities. The successful candidate must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, have a strong attention to detail, be results oriented and be able to effectively lead collaborative marketing initiatives.

The Market Manager will be responsible for creating marketing strategies that accelerate meaningful lead and demand generation resulting in increased sales revenues for the acute and post-acute business segments. The individual will be seen as the Subject Matter Expert and will assist in crafting key messaging and positioning for the products within these business segments. The position will also be responsible for the conception and development of innovative marketing programs that will drive an ROI using social media, pay per click and other marketing mediums. Attention to detail and the ability to lead marketing initiatives across the Marketing department and allied teams is a must.

Responsibilities

Owns the assigned market with a primary responsibility of leading his or her market team to create marketing campaigns, demand and lead generation activities that will drive leads to enable the sales team to meet corporate goals
Works with team to develop and oversee the execution of marketing campaigns that include: email, social media, PPC, direct mail, webinars, and other strategies Makes recommendations on all marketing promotions material used
Assists with the development of marketing collateral for customer and prospect messaging
Identify and make recommendations on trade show participation and industry associations
Tracks marketing activities and results, and stays abreast of pipeline contribution and growth
Serves as the “Voice of the Customer”
Develops deep understanding of our customers – how they buy, why they buy, when they buy, and how best to reach them
Works with the overall Marketing Team to make recommendations to improve win/loss ratios using analytical and personal interviews with customers
Will achieve certifications on ABILITY applications and serve as resource to the Marketing & Sales team on messaging and positioning
Works with Sales Strategy on content and outlines for marketing presentations and webinars
Conducts presentations and webinars as needed
Works with Product Management and Sales Strategy to track competitors and develop winning strategies for competitive positioning
Develops and maintains relationships with consultants and industry influencers in the assigned market
Participates in State and National Associations and their respective tradeshows as needed
Stays up-to-date with industry and regulatory trends that influence product requirements, purchasing and utilization
Other duties as requested and/or determined
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a healthcare setting, or a relevant healthcare company
Results driven, able to work independently to achieve set goals in a fast paced environment
Excellent project management skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Comfortable interacting with a variety of stakeholders (e.g., sales, marketing, development, technical services, etc.) with a demonstrated ability to lead through influence
A quick learner, with technical and business acumen
Effective and clear written and verbal communication skills a must to be effective in this position
Excellent organizational, analytical, and planning skills with good attention to detail
Highly self-motivated and directed with the ability to juggle different tasks and effectively balance priorities
Excellent presentation skills
Ability to be flexible and work under changing priorities; comfortable with ambiguity
Industry knowledge of healthcare administrative or clinical transactions/workflows is a plus
